1) Confirm your Checkout is on the updated model

How to customize Order Fields (Order Note Attributes)
Important: Before following the instructions below, you need to install Jataí.
1) Note Attributes Configuration
- Within the Jataí app, locate the Order Fields page.
- Click on Edit to modify existing pre-configured fields.
- These fields will be automatically added to the Note Attributes section of your orders.
2) Creating an Advanced Edit of Order Fields
Explore maximum customization with advanced editing. In this mode, you can add and duplicate a variety of custom fields as needed.
- Click on Access Advanced Edit.
- On the screen, all available field options and their correspondences will appear.
- Click on Add Field.
- In the Name field, enter how it will appear in the Note Attribute (in your integration documentation, use the exact same field name to facilitate integration).
- In Attribute Type, select the best option corresponding to this field.
- After configuring the desired fields, click on Save to apply the changes.
Place a test order in your store to check if the new note fields appear correctly on the checkout page and if the data is stored correctly with the order.
3) Capturing Payment Method Information
Ensure a more complete transaction analysis by automatically capturing the payment method information used.

- Click on View Status and History. All processed and unprocessed orders will appear there.

- In the upper right corner, all order field information will appear.
- Scroll down the order screen to identify the Jataí app and the captured information.
Attention: We recommend using the 3-page checkout, as, in most cases, it better reflects the behavior of checkout extensions.
The One Page Checkout model can generate inconsistencies in ZIP code validation — the warning is displayed to the user, but the purchase is not effectively blocked.
